  My favourite fish and chips place. The owner is friendly and he cooks his food correct. The scallops are perfectly done and not chewy, the fish is flaky and the serving sizes are generous. It's a good small home town restaurant opposed to a large chain. Love this place.

  We ordered dinner there and about puked when we found massive flying bugs inside not just my fish and chips, but my daughters as well! When we called the owner over, he said that we all picked up the dead bugs from the window sill and put them in our (barely touched) dinners! That's exactly what we went to a restaurant for! To play with dead bugs?? This place needs to close down!!! Not just because of its bug infestation, but for this kind of response from the actual owner!!

  The worst fish and chips I have ever had. We ordered dinner for 2 to go which costed us $40 so pretty pricey for fish and chips, then he forgot to give us our gravy, pop, forks. fish and chips were very soggy bland, gravy was very runny. Don't recommend at all.

  Worst restaurant experience of my life! When my friends and I arrived at the run down cash only restaurant we were starving from our trip to Vancouver. When we went to order drinks we asked for beer but he was out so we all ordered water and the owner made a comment about how we couldn't afford the pop. He proceeded to discuss his views on discipline with us. He asked us if we knew what the problem with our society is.......His answer Caucasians! I've never experienced racism like that before. After he said that we all walked out and will never go back. It's 2016 leave your racist views out of the workplace.

  My husband and son ate there about two years ago and didn't receive much ketchup with their meal. When they asked for more, the owner said he would have to charge for it. "I'm a businessman," he told them. We haven't been back since and we used to be regulars, even though the price kept going up. Was it worth losing regiular customers who try to.support local businesses? Also, he false advertises. Has a sign in the window that says, "Best fish and chips in BC. Diners poll winner 3rd year in a row." Try to find that poll somewhere online. In all the legitimate online polls, this restaurant does not come up anywhere. Liars will not get our business.
